Day Nine: Crash by Dave Matthews Band

Crash was the first album by Dave Matthews that I had, and it took me to many of his albums after. I love Dave Matthews because of this album, much like my love for Phil Collins. Some music by one artist that you’re initially exposed to opens a floodgate and leaves you desperate and searching for all of the music that artist ever created. That pretty much describes how I feel about Dave Matthews, and Crash is the music that started it all.
Day Ten: Phobia by Breaking Benjamin

Phobia shares a lot with Crash; it’s another album that came to be the first I owned by Breaking Benjamin, and it led me to so many of their other albums. However, with Phobia, and Breaking Benjamin as a band, I’ve found numerous, different bands that have a similar sound and themes. Red, Staind, Ashes Remain, and Bring Me The Horizon are just a few examples. I don’t know if I would have found these bands, or certainly as many of them as I have, without listening to Phobia before that.
