We’ve gotten a lot of unexpected news that a lot of people we know are expecting!

In this past week alone, we learned that three more couples are expecting babies! Two of those pairs are friends who will be first-time parents. One of them is my sister- and brother-in-law, who will be having another child! Not too long ago, we were told that two other couples are also expecting, one having their first and the other having their second. So all of the sudden, that makes for a total of five babies being born this year! So far anyway… It’s only February after all!

This is amazing! I had to gush about how cool it is to witness these new families starting to form and these established families continuing to grow. As a head of a still relatively young family, I think it’s awesome to be able to see our friends and family choose the path of parenthood, too. These are awesome people who are going to become wonderful parents. They are going to have wonderful children. Our village keeps welcoming new villagers, and it’s such a blessing! It’s been a special thing to watch it all unfold and be even a small part of.
