You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?

So!! Here are some trips that I’d choose different modes of transportation for!

• Just getting across the country to a specific destination? Definitely airplane.
• Moving cross country? Car. We did it twice. No regrets!
• Going cross country to see a bunch of destinations along the way (in our case, national parks)? Totally car.
• Doing a cross-country trip on a nice, overnight train with a good room and some amenities merely for the sake of enjoying our experience on a train? You guessed it: train.

… Quite honestly, I don’t see any scenarios in which I would use bus or bike. Maayyybbe motorcycle someday, but I have no experience riding one, and I don’t own one! So that’d be in the distant future!
