For however long we live on the east coast, we’ll be visiting Albuquerque as often as we can. So I want to start a series and introduce you to my home, a place that I love and think about all the time.

I’ll begin by saying that we’re flying there today! This will be the first time that we’ve been home since the end of May. 3 months doesn’t sound like much. But when you’ve been desperately missing your loved ones, craving your favorite food and beer, and wanting to escape bad weather, when you’re homesick in general, well, home looks brighter than ever. As they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
